noelh
'Not perfect', but perfect is the enemy of perfectly good. After 18 years away. That's a good return. It is a nice kit to come back with.
stever219
Great choice of kit and subject and well done for not going straight rust, copper or bronze for the exhausts, you've got a "not quite new" look that's just about spot on. You could have done with a bit less weathering on the underside though; the introduction of Sky, Eau-de-Nil, Sky Blue meant that the undersides were painted not long before the Battle of Britain started and the summer weather would have meant more dust than mud or fluid deposits (except behind the engine) underneath.

TEXANTOMCAT
Lovely job- I absolutely adore this kit too- sorely underrated by the Airfix bashers IMHO! TT 1

Johnny Tip
How did I miss this? A Hurricane, and of No. 145 squadron? Are those markings by chance or by choice?
bertielissie
Lovely job on the Hurri. Love the undersurfaces. Good old Eau du Nil. Reminds me of the old Humbrol colour back in the 60s I think they made it in gloss) , then around the 70s they brought out their Authentic Range which included Sky Type S. Ahh, the memories
