JeroenS
Hi all, 2020 was the year I discovered the Group Builds section on Britmodeller! I had no idea it would be such fun. Most of my builds this year originate from the GB's I took part in: Nordic, Spitfire, Vietnam, Heller Classic and 2 Blitz(en) Builds. I have more lined up for 2021. What I like about the GB's is the "socializing" but also the fact that there's a deadline! Very important to me, makes me finish a build! Each year it's a suprise to me which kits I actually completed. There were 10, which was 3 more than I initially thought! #1: Takom 1/35 Hanomag SS100 Strassenschlepper #2: Nordic GB's Heller 1/32 Volvo F12 (well, some bits of it) #3: Revell 1/25 Mercedes-Benz 1628s 6x4 hookloader conversion This build actually took me 2 years but I finally completed it in 2020! #4: My First Aircraft, Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire Mk. 1 for Spitfire STGB #5: ICM 1/35 ZiL Emergency Truck #6: Blitz Build Emhar 1/24 Bedford Recovery Truck #7 and #8: Vietnam GB AFV Club 1/35 M49 Fuel Truck and M35 Gun Truck #9: Heller Classic GB's 1/24 Scania LB 141 #10: Blitzen Build IBG Models 1/72 Diamond T 972 Dump Truck Thanks for watching!

cmatthewbacon
Those all look great, Jeroen... and a wingy thing, too! I think the emergency truck is my favourite; the interior really makes it for me. You’ve also reminded me that I must get one of those Emhar trucks... A very good year, I’d say! best, M.

It seems that the Emhar trucks are not being produced anymore so they are getting more expensive, though prices vary.
Andy Moore
Amazing set of models Jeroen. The Heller Scania in particular stands out, love how you did the weathering on that one. Andy

Andy Thanks Andy, the Benz and the Scania check my boxes, these are the kind of trucks I like to build.
Spiny
Well that explains why we see less of you in the vehicle section. It still surprises me how quickly you can build these to such a good standard - 10 in a year is some going.

bigbadbadge
I like these, this is a cracking collection. The old Scania tractor unit and Mercedes Ro Ro look fantastic and your backdrop is superb. Great work Chris

And you might as well skip the "almost" in non describable, I don't think this could ever be explained 🙂
Natter
Excellent trucks. The weathering is superb and a couple of those photographed with the industrial building building background look real, and modelling doesn't get much better than that. A nice diversion for the Spitfire too.

stevehnz
Nice, plus plus. As a truck driver in my younger days, I appreciate those & what went into them. Steve.

I wanted to be a truck driver when I was a "wee lad".... look mommie, I'm a software developer 🙂 Guess I've rediscovered my love of trucks since I started modelling again a couple of years ago.
