Some great detailing in there, looking forwards to more :)

Thank you, I’m glad that you’re having an interest in my build! 😉

Meanwhile, I have the small update...

The seat cushions were painted in black and the seats were fitted into the cockpit:

The belts will be added later.

I also installed the engines and closed the fuselage halves, finally:

The details were painted with a hairy stick and washed in a watercolour style:

Next will be moderate sanding and very light rescribing. Thanks for looking! 😜

Looking very precise. 👌 I keep looking at that seam on my one. It’s a real pain to get rid of. Keeps coming back like a bad smell. I used sprue goo and now a spot of filler. Fingers crossed for you, looks like you’re going to get it sorted. 👏👏👏

Subassembly 8-a has a very tight fit and need to be trimmed (because it can lose its fit after priming) alongside with its placement inside the fuselage. The TET isn’t the solution here and the best way is to use the Mr.CEMENT S because of its strong melting characteristics.

Yes, the 36 hours of fixation do the trick. 👍

I keep having to remind myself that all this detail is 1/72 scale! Looking forward to seeing how the early canopy looks on it.

Adrian

+1 -- I keep thinking this is 1/48.

Finally got caught up; the detailing is terrific and I continue to be impressed with Flory wash.  I guess its time for me to try it out.

It’s just a mojo - adding details to this great kit wasn’t so difficult. But these things are so small! 🧐

Sure thing, it’s very useful and the results can be very artistic.

Thank you, guys! 🤝

Hello, Britmodellers! 👋

Not so much progress on the Hind this busy week...

The seat belts were glued and touched with the Flory Wash, then the canopy was placed:

The forward fuselage part fits good, but the joint line still needs to be trimmed a bit:

An undercarriage wells were installed and all the main seams on fuselage already filled and sanded:

Thanks for watching! 😸

It's nice that it has those big windows to see all that beautiful cockpit work! :D   With the canopy on, it's really starting to look serious!

I like it a lot, too! It’s great to have so many little details in the cockpit that can be exposed.

Absolutely fantastic kit, it’s an excellent representation of the real thing with just the small additions! 👍

Looking great! The canopy is lovely isn’t it. Such a great fit.

Thank you guys, the canopy looks awesome and the fit was great. 👍 I started from its forward portion and then glued the top side.

you’re making this look easy. 👌👏👏👏

Actually, it wasn’t so easy: the joint between cockpit and the cabin floors was really tight, so I ended up with some trimming to make a fit of the forward fuselage section as good as possible. It’s not so perfect, but I’m happy with it.

Now it’s time for adding small bits and some undercarriage works... Stay safe! 🐈

And my new tool is ready:

I have same airbrush too. But somehow it doesn't fit my hand well. I cannot pull the trigger as the head slips from my finger tip. I have tried to place a rubber disk on top of the trigger without success.

Therefore I use mainly my old Bagger 150 trio.

My fingers are often wet, so I perform all the painting work in gloves. 😬

I discovered the long sink along the fuselage centreline, so I filled it with the sprue glue last weekend. Now I need to sand it down and repeat the riveting process. Maybe it’ll work...

It isn’t so big these days! 🌏 I love the stuff from the small U.S. manufacturers, these things are really well-made.

It’s never too late to join the party, J.M.! 😉 Progress a bit slowed down for this week: I glued the pylons to the wings and added some small things here and there.
