JohnT
Sad that Bonhoff and I had exactly the same thought at the same time. PM me your address and I’ll post you some of my meds that I get from nice nurse Bonhoff matey
Gorby
Yes it is very tempting but: In 1/35 it'll be eight and a half feet high and wouldn't fit into any room in my house (and it's too cold to work in the garden). In 1/48 it would be six and a quarter feet high. I'd fit it in the room but that would be pointless as Mrs Gorby would kick me out of the house. In 1/72 it would be just over four foot tall and I would fit it in the room, I may be allowed to stay in the house, but I'm not sure I could afford the repayments for the mortgage I'd need for the building materials. 'Only' two feet tall in 1/144 but…. …. I'M NOT BUILDING THE BLOODY THING!!!!!!!!!

Interesting how none of these things have any semblance of maneuverability...

Pete in Lincs
2 hours ago, Gorby said: It was supposed to be 300 feet high And about 400 long, whilst being rather narrow and, from the look of it, unable to steer. There's a fair chance that a model of it would fall over sideways on the shelf. Obviously a health and safety hazard. Best no then. In some respects, it's a wheeled AT-AT.

Model Mate
Ahh, another slice of Gorby genius and I love the history lesson too..! Aside from the wonderful nonsense, this is a beautifully built model and I’d love to see the WIP - any hints on how to find it?
Murdo
Absolutely brilliant! (the model, not the design). Sounds like something done by B.S. Johnson from the Discworld series.
Gorby
Thanks for the comments @Model Mate & @Murdo I won't be allowed to post a link here, so I'll just say that Google is your friend. 😉
Max Headroom
The product of a dangerously unhinged and barking mind. I approve. Wonderfully made model and your writing style makes for an amusing read too. Trevor
Spitfire 123
Thank you for sharing this, not just the modeling but the story too! Love the humor. Dio is spot on!! Riley
Richard E
Refreshingly excellently bonkers in the best possible way ! The worrying thing is that your behemoth is number 7 so there must be another six of these monsters prowling the planet.
