Richard Tucker
I popped onto Britmodeller to get some advice and spotted this blitzbuild at 18:00 on the 27th. Did I have something I could build in less than 24 hours? Would I have the time? Lets GO! Here is the time on my phone when I started. Other pictures have the phone in shot.... One unstarted and a bit bashed BF108. Some Sprue pics It turns out I bought a new set of decals and a mask for it months ago and I'd forgotten. RLM2 Vallejo Airbrushed on the internal parts and first attempt at the phone in shot... 14 minutes elapsed. Time to cook some tea.,
Richard Tucker
Gave up on tea cooking and did some gluing and sticking as the RLM2 dried quick.

Richard Tucker
Started again at 21:17 Painted the cockpit, instrument panel, stuck some spare seatbelts I have in and glued the wings to the fuselage and the cockpit parts to the fuselage with clearfix. Ended at 21:53 with an assembled and glued aircraft. Started again at 21:57 Sprayed the Vallejo primer and pained a few little bits like the undercarriage and pitot tube. Waited for the primer to dry a bit and sprayed the white fuselage band and wing tips Time these 2 sessions 21:17-21:53 - 36 mins 21:57-22:24 - 27 mins Total time on 27th Dec 36+27+60 = 123 mins.

Richard Tucker
An early start and lots of progress. Started at 07:24. The primer and white paint had dried so I masked the white wing tips and fuselage band and sprayed some HellBlau underneath. I glued the wheels in and 18 minutes later I left it to dry. After brekky and delivering breakfast in bed to the wife (keeps her sweet ), I started again. I masked up the "dry" hellblau and sprayed the desert sand colour. This was the shortest time I have ever let paint sit on a plane before masking it - about 15 mins. Lots of tidying and a 5km run later, the wife was still in bed. Lots of work done here. I painted the green mottles with some Dark Green non-airbrush paint. I removed all the masking and all the paint stayed where it should. I was amazed! I attached the struts to the tail plane, the rear wheel, the undercarriage panels, the propeller and removed all the glazing masking. This pulled a little bit of paint off the clear parts but I touched it up. I tidied up a few areas and then sprayed the whole lot with some "Future" (Pledge Floor Gloss). I'll now have to wait for that to dry before doing the decals, weathering and final assembly. 28th December so far 07:24 - 07:42 - 18 mins 08:15 - 08:28 - 13 mins 11:20 - 12:22 - 62 mins

Richard Tucker
This session start Start 15:29 Some weathering with some weathering pencils, some exhaust stains with chalk and attaching the last few under-wing bits and I'm calling it done. End 16:22 Duration 53 mins Final timings are : Started 27/12/20 at 18:11 and finished on 28/12/20 at 16:22 Elapsed time working on the model was 299 mins - 1 minute short of 5 hours. It has been a blast. I really enjoyed it and I doubt I would have done this kit without the Blitzbuild. Thank you
