Creepy Pete
Normally I pretty much just build aircraft models, but this year I did all kinds of stuff and thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe that's why I managed to finish 17 builds. Started in 2019, but finished in 2020, a 1/72 Italeri SF-5B with Series Espanolas decals: For the Nordic GB, a Swedish Spitfire PR.XIX, 1/48 Airfix kit. The Italeri rebox of the Hasegawa 1/48 Hawker Typhoon, first time using masks for the markings: First time building a ship, the 1/700 Dragon USS Normandy: First time building something WW2 Japanese, the 1/72 Hasegawa G4M2 Betty: First time doing something Israeli, the Fujimi 1/72 A-4E with Armycast decals: For the "Journey's End" GB, the 1/48 Revell Monogram P-47N with Kits World Decals And for the same GB, the 1/48 Hasegawa Ki-84 Hayate: Something I just had to get when I saw it, the 1/35 Hasegawa Yanmar Rice Harvester. Such a nice kit: Another out of the ordinary build, the Arii 1/32 Daihatsu CM10T three weeler. This was such fun to do, I bought another one of those little Arii Japanese utility vehicles, a Mazda this time. A little more serious, the Kinetic Starfighter, as a Dutch RF-104G using a Daco Orpheus pod and Dutch Decal decals: This one took me a while, but I managed to finish it. The Italeri 1/72 Merlin HC.3: For the Vietnam GB, the 1/72 Sword RT-33: And for the same GB, the 1/35 Academy M50A1 Ontos. First time in years building armor, and first time ever using weathering stuff on it. For the Mediterranean GB, the 1/72 Italeri S.79 Sparviero: Just a quick silly build, the 1/72 Plusmodel BQM-34 Firebee: And finally, finished last night, the 1/35 Freedom Model Kits MIM-14C Nike Hercules. This one is for the Interceptor GB: Not a bad year. Let's see how many I can finish in 2021. zebra
Looks like you had a great year Pete. A few of them made me stop and take a good look - the rice harvester has to be my favourite for that reason.
