Pappy
G'day people, I am looking at doing an Argentine Macchi-339 as used during the Falklands War. I have the exterior colours sorted but unsure for the internals, mainly the cockpit, seat and undercarriage. I know that at least two examples were captured and returned to the UK, perhaps someone has pics of these jets. I imagine the cockpit and seat are some type of grey, not far from dark gull grey or medium sea grey. Similar for the seat, I would guess medium sea grey as it is a MB seat. As for the undercarriage legs, speed brake and gear well interiors I think either silver or aluminium paint. The pictures I have seen show the u/c to be light but since the underside was painted in a light grey, it is hard to tell the colour as it is similar in shade but I am basing my guess on RAAF Macchis which were painted silver, cheers, Pappy
