SAT69
With all the work that had to have gone into that plane, it had to have been heartbreaking to see it go down like that. Reminds me of an R/C B-52, said to have cost some $60,000 to build, that also crashed ... and burned. 1
Truro Model Builder
Banzai!!! Sorry, I'll get my coat. But seriously, once again it impresses the necessity of keeping a lookout for other aircraft, no matter if you believe yourself to be in the right. Filbert_Wang
That must have been heartbreaking. Having seen how RC helicopters fly a lot of the time (which is to say they seem to be a great deal harder to control), and the fact that it looks like the one it hit was upside down at the time, I would have been a lot more cautious putting something like that up in the air anywhere near it! spruecutter96
With the benefit of hind-sight, I have to wonder why both models were in the air at the same time. You live and learn, I guess. Chris.

Tim R-T-C
Damn, I'd cry if that happened to my 144th scale Zero that took a week to make and cost about £10 all in. But like the people who take up real restored planes, it is always a risk if you want to see things flying.
