Lovely Lanc! i have this in the stash awaiting my attention.. if i can tear myself away from USAAF 'shiny' stuff. Top class building if i may say so! Well done and thank you for sharing it with us! The weathering is super and i loved the nice touch of the tiny maps!

Lovely build and presentation. The crew were really tempting fate with all that yellow, here we are guys, come and get us ...........

I drive across the old airfield site at Elsham Wolds regularly, the A15 goes right across the runways. The next time I am driving across the main runway I will try to imagine this yellow adorned Lancaster setting off for Germany.

regards, Adrian

Very nice, Rodolfo. I also have this kit waiting to be built. Like Adrian, I’m very familiar with Elsham Wold (I’ll be driving across it at lunchtime and flying over it tomorrow morning) and often try to picture Lancasters on their dispersals. I’ve mentioned it before on this forum, but Don Charlwood’s classic book ‘No Moon Tonight’ describes his wartime experiences at Elsham Wold superbly.
