Reconnaissance ME Hurricanes

I recently read of some Hurricanes which were modified for Reconnaissance work in the Middle East, with a ventral housing added. Has anyone got information on this, or perhaps even a photo?  The impression was that the modification was a local level one , presumably at ME HQ area.

                 Sorry for the late reply,.... been offline for a few days,....... it is quite a big subject and you should find quite a bit of info and pictures etc on Google.

 

Here is another thread on Britmodeller too;

 

Don`t fall for the overall blue Hurri PR.I with a camouflaged fin and rudder and based on Malta,..... it is incorrect!

 

The Hurricane PR.I & II were generally painted Dark Bosun Blue.
