In a duel between an F35B and an F18 i would be in the cockpit of the F35B everytime. It was understood we woukd be ordering some as part of a later batch, but we'll see.......thankfully the USMC aircraft on the QE have the gun pod. Hmmmm Maybe it was a minimum speed test.... without details... you never know with these publications... Edit: and after looking closer, it seems it carries 4 big bombs! Yeah, but a Sea Harriers max load is significantly different from a Super Hornet that was designed to use lots of runway or a hot cat for full loads.. Eamonn A country that can afford 500 combat aircraft should have no problem supporting a carrier air wing with Super Hornets or any other modern aircraft. India may be a country characterised by large contrasts but it's one of the 5 major economies in the world and is likely to become the 3rd largest in a few years.
