BritJet
As for everybody 2020 has been a strange year for me, but even though I've worked all year I've managed to get more modelling done than normal. I think it's probably been a distraction from the horrible things happening in the real-world. Link to RFI underneath each photo with more details. 1. Avro Tudor 8 Contrail vacform converted to Nene jet power, home made decals. 2. Boulton Paul P111a Pegasus, home made decals. 3. stevehnz
Flipping heck, that is quite a line up. I have to go for the Fa-223 as a favourite, all that struttery looks very daunting, the Scout also but all the rest of them are pretty smart too. Steve. BritJet
Cheers guys, I really enjoyed building these Steve
cngaero
Superb, absolutely superb. That's one of the finest collections of British military aeronautical ironmongery I've seen. I can't wait to see the Meteor testbeds and the JP 2.
BritJet
Thanks, I'm slowly crossing them off the list. The Meteors are now finished so once the other two are done I'll take some photos. Steve
AdrianMF
What a great line-up! It’s wrong to have favourites but I do particularly like the Boulton Paul deltas and the SB5. Regards, Adrian
BritJet
Cheers. The Boulton Paul's were nearly finished at the end of last year but for some reason the paint was taking ages to dry so I left them alone for a while. The SB5 was a quick build as it's a simple kit and one colour - I need to do more like that! All the best. Steve
Alan P
These are all beautifully made, you've got a good eye for capturing the overall look of a subject. Really like the choice of subjects as well, something different to the usual. A vintage year I'd say 👏👏👏
BritJet
Thanks, I've always had more interest in the prototypes, tests & trials than in-service/squadron aircraft. I hadn't realised how many completions I'd managed until I started thinking about putting the Yearbook together. It seems back to front but I've worked more hours this year and completed more models than normal! Steve
JWM
large variety of interesting models, the FA223 in Luftwaffe livery (instead of after war one tested in UK) is the most surprising in the set! Congrats! J-W
BritJet
I was tempted to do it in the UK scheme but thought it would be better in Luftwaffe markings as there weren't many WW2 rotorcraft. Steve
manuel
Wow 👏 I like Raspberry Ripple and a lot the Avro 748, my only regret no one does in 1/72 plastic kit (I never achieve an vacform kit 😪). Good work. Manuel
BritJet
Raspberry Ripple is one of my major themes and the 748 had to be on the list, I've got the Andover nearly ready for painting but that will be for later in the year. I wonder if Valom might be tempted to do the 748/Andover family at some point? If you ever see the ID Models/Formaplane vacform 748 or Andover don't be even slightly tempted to buy them as they are both horrible!
