First class idea mate, no need for zimm and it'll go together without any issues I'm quite sure. If you want to add anything to it as you go along fair enough otherwise an oob showstopper I'm sure will be on the cards.

Guess I'll stick that kit away then, narrows my choice down a smidgen...👍

I'm going to set myself a little challenge with this project. With a Hannants shopping trip off the table and the postal service extremely busy I am going to nip up to a local hobby store and see what he has. It is a tiny shop that specialises in rail stuff but also has a few military kits but not a massive choice. So the little challenge is that I have to buy whatever Tiger he may have in stock,build OOTB with no aftermarket, only using stuff from the spares box if necessary and see where I end up. I could be lucky or I could end up with a pig's ear.

Not the greatest challenge that humankind has ever undertaken but pushes me a bit and will make me learn some new skills, maybe.

I have to say that I’m enjoying this build. 
The kit falls squarely between Tamiya and Dragon. 
There are a few very minor fit issues, nut nothing serious, at all.

Ok so my week of nights is over time to address some of the shenanigans going on here. What's with all this texture mullarkey.........its steel for God's sake what do you expect a mirror finish 🙄. Mr Surfacer 1500 primer followed by your colour of choice and BOOM no more texture 🙂. And as for your placement of zimmerit......well you should apply it where you think it's necessary, i certainly won't be passing any comments......not till the RFI stage anyway 🤭👍

On an entirely different note just received an email from Mig showing new range of resin 3d printed accessories in 1/35 Inc...

.50 browning's, ww2 and modern           €10.95 - 13.75

Mg-34 with AA mount and bipods          €8.95

Mg-34 ammo drums                                 €4.95

.30 and .50 ammo boxes full and empty   €4.95 - €8.75

And.....German tank tool clamps             €16.95

Saturday and first day off work for + 2 weeks now 🍸🤪

Bench time will be limited though - heading up north for 7 days of skiing ⛷️
So 6 hours to go - and weapon of choice has been selected:

 

This kit has some shortcommings, I will summarize later but first the most glaring issue:

 

The massive front glacis is even worse with a sinkmark that will require filler and sanding just as in the picture above.

Anyway - enough complaints and back to the box and the spruecutter... woops fresh out of tonic water...
