The Pz.Kpfw VI Ausf B is properly the Bengal Tiger, not the King Tiger, but it will be the latter for evermore now. Odd, given that for example the Nashorn when translated is always Rhinoceros and never the literal Nose Horn. Thank you, I feel better now. And some tracks. WRT the tracks, as they're painted on the sprue, should I go through them all to remove paint from the joint points? Or will they go together as is? The Tiger has it's primer and already i like what I'm seeing, amazing what a difference a coat of paint makes . Photo etch grilles are inbound and will be added at a later date. Wheels next hopefully tomorrow and the tracks will follow along, so all in all I'm happy with the results so far That's it for today just the beginning of the paint process but I'm already looking forward to the next part which will start with some brown paint in strategic places 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I use mr surfacer 1500 for all my priming work. Black, grey and white all work great mixed 50/50 with Mr colour levelling thinner. First time I painted all and then tried to assemble and found the paint to be fouling the joints. Perhaps assemble so as you have two or three sections then paint the bulk of them, fit and paint the rest.. Might be easier than painting once fitted and trying to avoid the wheels.
