now i am going out on a limb here ......... and i'm gonna say that that coat looks far two ....non committed like you were scared you were gonna mess it up...and i understand that i do ...but that just looks very dusty not winterized..... just my two cents......looks good but not winter white wash. I think you should bite the bullet and really commit to it and hit it again....Have faith your finishing work looks great .........or is the light source effecting the pics?

I was thinking the same tbh..doesn't really look like a winter white job, as Mr Pigg says, it could just be the lighting in the pic..

I'm sure this one's going to be a cracker when done tho 👍

Hi guys !!

I’m really sorry for the poor pictures.
I have a real hard time with the light in my little corner.
Steve, thanks for being upfront, and you deserve some better pics :D

Work is ongoing... So, not finished yet ;)

yep the lighting is not doing your work any favours is it....the brighter light shows the winter coat a little better though....must admit that looking at my own Tiger hasn't helped as the contrast between white and grey is much more stark...but between yellow and white not so much...probably why I thought you had done a very light dusting rather than committing to it.... tis looking very nice though.

Have you thought of getting one of those small folding light boxes for photos .... wife got me a set last year the box which folds down into a two foot square flat pack and a set of lights..... don't think it was much more than thirty squids and while not a professional setup by any stretch of the imagination it certainly is a big improvement over piccys on your desk.

I need something, Steve !! :D

I have light from five sources, and it still yellows everything, in the pix.

I’ll probably try taking some outside pix once it’s complete.
Won’t be long now....

Well I think it looks very nice!

Is this one of those clanky Tiger thingy-me-bobs? 😉

The covers over the air intakes, sorry, grill things on the flat bit at the back end look very convincing.

Is this the one that gets a base with a bunch of jolly figures?

Anyway can't hang around, being hunted by a staffel of 109s...thanks Lee!!!

Maybe it's the type of bulb, some light sources are very yellowy, proper sunlight is probably the best for realism tho..

Its over all a very poor light source.
I’ll definitely try shaded sunlight ;)

The US  guy who did a diorama of a racing car workshop did some stunning pics using real outdoor sunlight.. It may be worth doing some research on the specs of different light bulbs / fluorescent tubes as regards colour etc

Well, shoot.
My stash shelf collapsed.

But in doing so, I located some MiniArt winter panzer crew.
Not bad for regular injection mounding.
Still needs a little clean up, and I added a spare Alpine head.

Rig one or two of your lights with daylight bulbs........that will be a massive upgrade to the lighting ....and will be a big improvement to how you work as well ..clearer cleaner light
