The hit aircraft was able to return to base and there are published recollections of the wingman who escorted the stricken F-117A back home. Like you guys I'm rather skeptic about any other combat losses than #806. Possible: yes, likely: no. I think it would have been extremely difficult to hide such an exceptional case completely. Yes, they were pretty clever using some physics with their radar equipment but they were also extremely lucky with that shot. Still they managed to hit at least probably 2 F-117s, an F-16, and one F-15? that had to land in Bosnia... and managed to preserve far more equippment than initially reported by Nato. Looking at the overall odds of small country with outdated equippment vs. all the best NATO could muster, it is at least some succes. In Lybia 13 years later there was not so much.... A lot of info easily mixed up or miss-interpretable I think you are confusing the loss of the F-117, it was due to flying a very predictable flight path.
