Dreammodel should be able to make several versions of the S-61, they flew all over the world supporting the oil industry before the S-92 came along. Blue Monday Posted December 16, 2020 Share Posted December 16, 2020 The Dreammodel Dauphin looks to be of good quality but the shape of the fuselage under the cabin looks to be too curved. The Matchbox SA365 has a better overall shape. I hope their S-61N is more accurate because it would be amazing to be able to build an accurate injection-moulded S-61! 71chally Posted December 16, 2020 Share Posted December 16, 2020 (edited) I'm just really glad this is coming, my Grandad worked for BEA/BA helicopters and I was brought up around these magnificent S61N helicopters, the sound, and smell will never be forgotten! In fact I have them to thank for getting me in to aviation in the first place. I don't really fancy trying the Sea King conversion route, but must thank @Jamie @ Sovereign Hobbies and @perdu for paving the way for this release! This IS a first for a helicopter type that has seen almost exclusively civilian use.
