GeejeeZ
Apologies for the late reply, but had some catching up to do on the forum. Absolutely fantastic news, this Dreammodel kit!! The S61N (and -L) has always been one of my favorite helicopters. I have built two of the Whirlybird kits, the early ones that went together with Revell parts, and also their Norwegian Sea King. I had just planned to buy a new Whirlybird S-61- kit (via AMS in the Netherlands) but am still not good at modelling resin, so very happy with -at last- an injection kit. I have built more than a handful of the Dreammodel Dauphins, and they went together nice and fast.

NavyWessex
Dreammodel have just posted over at their Facebook page that a new helicopter product is to be announced soon. Could be the S-61.. Edited August 13, 2021 by NavyWessex
Blue Monday
They have mentioned that they plan to release a 1/72 UH-1Y. I hope the S-61N is released before the UH-1Y. BM. 1

NavyWessex
I've reached out to Dream Model on a number of occasions over the years and had no response. Their social media channels have also gone very quiet for quite some time. 1

The end of the company would be a real shame: DreamModel was the one company that kept my dreams alive for maybe some new models of civil helicopter types. Their Dauphin was a pleasant surprise and I could not wait for the -61N. Well, I guess I will have to start saving to buy some of the left over Whirlybird Sikorsky's. NavyWessex
I managed to contact Dream Model last week by email who confirmed their social media account had been hacked and were in the process of trying to recover it. They also confirmed the S-61 was still being worked on, but delays due to the pandemic had set the project back some time.

Andrew
That's promising news - thanks for the update and for continuing to ask Dream Model for information. It's good to hear that there's life yet in the project!
Ad-4N
Really looking forward to this. Maybe they will do a state of the art S-61R.
NavyWessex
Fingers crossed. It's also the first written confirmation I've seen from Dream Model that the S-61 project as seen on Scalemates is correct.
CharlieGolf2009
Great news then! Their Dauphin, Panther, UH-1Y, AH-1Z, late AH-1W, F-5E and F-5F Tiger II are spectacular little kits. Clear Prop will be the ones releasing the Super Frelon, and I always thought DreamModel would beat them to it. Besides the S-61L/N, I only hope we'll get to see in the future the Puma/Super Puma/Cougar/Caracal family by DM... that would be quite something, and long overdue if I might add.
maxdecal
Great news on the S-61N. To add to CharlieGolf2009's comments above I agree the Puma/SuperPuma family is long overdue. In addition an AW-139 would be most welcome. Cheers, Joe

Cheers, Joe The newer AgustaWestland models would also be terrific, no doubt about that, but for me the cherry on top of the cake would be a 1/72 injection molded Mil Mi-14 "Haze".
