Modelholic
What colour would the inside bulwarks (like the bits the captain would see standing on the bridge) be on a camouflaged WW2 ship? Tom
PF Naughton
Hi, I don't know if this helps, but here are some links to the museum ships HMCS Haida and HMCS Sackville, as they look right now. jproc.ca/haida/bridge.html jproc.ca/haida/bridge.html www.steelnavy.com/Sackville.htm Pat
Modelholic
Thanks Pat, I've been thinking that the colours would follow on. Something like: Exterior bridge port side-blue; interior bridge starboard side-blue Exterior bridge starboard side-grey; interior bridge port side-grey Tom
dickrd
For a Canadian example try Googling images of HMCS Thetford Mines. You should find one or two overhead views of her bridge showing the inside dark grey whereas the exterior camouflage is light-toned. CT 260 is the best for your purposes. (Why am I unable to post links?) Edited December 15, 2020 by dickrd
