I have to admit that the A330-300 looks bigger than I thought. What is it like size-wise compared to you Finnair A350 ? (Subtle hint for a "with something else" shot 😀)

Thanks all, it looks better in the photos :D

Here you are Mike, about the the same size as the A350, slightly shorter span. Funny, I thought the A350 fuselage had a larger cross section for some reason since it is about the size of a 777-200.

Also a bonus shot including my 737-8

The 330 is deceptively large, used to think it was comparable to the 767 till I was at RIAT a few years back and they had an RAF Voyager parked next to a JASDF KC767 and it was clear the 330 is about 25% larger.

Anyway lovely finish. Always like the QANTAS livery though never saw them over here till the now suspended Flight 10 started up.  Wonder if someone will do a 787-9 in the upcoming AUS-NZ GB on that note.

As I was about to say (before we were rudely interrupted), consider my gob to be well and truly smacked! I'm more than surprised by the size similarity, but then your eyes are drawn to the engines. 👀

Absolutely massive on the A350, and a far cry from those on the 707s and DC-8s that I grew up with.
