Some beauties there Stix. Your Spitfire 22 is bookmarked from back then. And must say that although I'm not really an AFV man (don't know enough about them), I really like the effects you can produce. The Panther was a great final flourish.

Hi Justin. I hope you are keeping well. Thank you very much for your very kind comments.

Superb quality and variety of completed models .You must have worn out a few mm of your brushes.

Please tell me which manufacturer,  size  and in what brush range gets your vote for the most outstanding brush of the year ?

Cheers

Alistair

Hi Alistair. Hope you are keeping well and thank you very much for your kind comments.

As far as brushes go: I use a Humbrol flat brushes set (4 brushes, various sizes) for the main application brushes. For fine and detail painting I use Tamiya and Army Painter fine pointed brushes. For washes I use some older Revell brushes. Dry-brushing is usually done with the Humbrol flat brushes once they have started to fray a bit. Hope that's of some use.

Stix

A great range of subjects beautifully brush painted Stix. I have had a go at following your methods on a couple my builds this year, but I am afraid that my modelling career will be long behind me before I reach this standard.

Well done my friend, I look forward to seeing more of your work this year.

Happy New Year

John.

Hi John. Thank you for your comments. Sorry my methods didn't work for you. There have been things I've tried that I've watched in others modeller's videos but cannot make them work for me. I don't think you need to worry - you produce fantastic results with your builds anyway!!

And a belated Happy New Year to you too.

Kind regards,

Stix

Some remarkable builds there. Any one of those would be a year's work for me, even if I had the skills.

Hi Tony. Sorry for the really slow reply!! Lost track of this thread altogether! Thank you very much. You are way too kind.
