Pappy
G'day people, I am chasing a pic of what lives under the panel located on the left intake - I think this is where the reuelling point is located? I cannot seem to find pictures of this anywhere, cheers, Pappy
Kari Lumppio
Hello! On left side is the pressure refuelling point. Right side has hand pump for (brake) hydraulic pressure. There was mimimum pressure for tow. Morning gymnastics for conscript ground crew in Finnish Air Force (Mk 51 etc). I may have photo of the refuelling point of HW-326 (Mk 51) which is already museum piece in Estonia. I have no way to hang photos on internet right now, though. Pappy
G'day Julien and Karl, It looks like I am on the right track. That is a great pic Julien, unfortunately there is afuel hose in the way! It would have been perfect if the hose nozzle was not connected. I don't expect there is much else in there apart from the filler cap but there is no doubt some sort of panel with pre-check and shut off valveswhich is what I am chasing, cheers, Pappy
Terry1954
Hi Pappy, @Fritag might be able to help, but I say that with some reservation ...... he only flew them, maybe others helped him fill em up! Terry

If you PM me your email address I can take a photo of it for you if you don't have a copy. Dave

Kari Lumppio
Hello! I just saw in another thread Google Photos was successfully inserted here. I pasted below two Google Photo urls directly and I can see the photos. Do not know how long this will work. ("Insert image from URL will not work for Google Photos for me at least). The plane of which these photos are taken is ex Finnish Air Force Mk 51 HW-326 now at Tartu Lennundusmuuseum in Estonia. Great place: https://www.lennundusmuuseum.ee/en/ ) Cheers, Kari Edited December 12, 2020 by Kari Lumppio
