fjaweijfopi4j48
Well done, and in record time! It's very nice to see these often neglected pioneers represented in model form. You have done it justice. Cheers

ColinChipmunkfan
Very nice to see, your fine model brings back some memories. I built one, and the Avro Triplane many years ago after watching a film called "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines"- a really fun film if you have not seen it.

There were six of these kits that Inpact produced, tied into that film: Avro Biplane and Triplane, Bristol Boxkite, Bleriot, Martin-Handasyde, and of course the Deperdussin. In the mid-'60s they were very impressive and unique kits: 55 years later that pioneer era is still mostly represented by these moulds, which have outlasted several manufacturer's names. As four of the six 1/1 scale versions still fly at Old Warden, you could build Shuttleworth in 1/48!
