stevehnz
Quite beautiful. It is hard to single out anything for special praise, such is the high quality on show but I do like those steel tyres, I reckon they set it off superbly. Steve. JeroenS
Outstanding model of transport long forgotten. I reckon it must have been cosy in there with 16 people!

Terry1954
Absolutely stunning build. So what is the main body and chassis constructed from? I'm assuming metal os some type? Terry

Actually 16 is what the licence for the vehicle said it could carry, so if you stood a lot of bods at the rear all hanging on, as well as squeezing a lot more up with the driver, then a few more could be carried. Only way to make any money was to overload the pax. Oh, it's 8 feet long each seat is inside, so 8 skinny bums down each side, plus another 3 up with the driver equals------ Sure it would have been real cosy on a cold morning and hope like hell nobody dropped their guts, eh. 🙂 Sounds like today's lowfloor buses, sardine cans, miss high floors. Anteater
I would say "outstanding" but that's been said. Can I call it superlative work instead? It really is excellent.
JohnT
Really hairy chested modelling. Commenting that it’s good is a bit like saying Michelangelo want a bad ceiling decorator. It’s brilliant

Pete in Lincs
Another lovely one. I like your construction method. And, I learnt a new word, Fellies. I must say, the upper seating on that Museum model looks a bit dodgy!

JeroenS
So cool these old movie reels. Google says it's called knife board seating because it "resembles a knife board"... Well... if it's on the internet it must be true 😉 https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/knifeboard#:~:text=Noun,double-deck omnibuses and trams.
perdu
I think knife board was because they had to sit with their feet on the edge board round the roof edge, but that was only an impression I picked during my searches. I have to say this is one of the finest models I've ever seen of a horse bus, no b*gger that, one of the finest models period. I love it, fabulous undergear work too just fabulous. Hope I get half as decent a result.
