I’m no expert though so if anyone has details of another type that meets either of these criteria I would be really interested to hear about it. The only other one I can think of is the Lithuanian Fokker DVII, which served up to 1940 if I recall correctly

The Poles kept some Bristol Fighters in service until 1932, but I don;t know of any use after that, and the Brisfit is probably the most credible candidate apart from the 504 in terms of its usability.
Bandsaw Steve
Maybe the Curtiss Jenny somewhere in some training capacity? 🤔
Work In Progress
Not as far as I can find. This http://www.plienosparnai.lt/page.php?711 suggests the Lithuanian Fokkers came out of service in 1937, and my own knowledge of the Lithuanian air force is somewhere between 'slender' and 'negligible', but even 1937 puts it in a praiseworthy second place and shows the longevity of a good basic design. Which exactly Fokker you mean? Indeed they are not well recognized, however they were trying to be updated. At the outbreak of WW2 they have Gladiators And Dewoitines 510 Some own designs - the company ANBO https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=56837.0, a prototype of tactical bomber: Best regards J-W
