Nice one :).

Some more then 45 years ago I was scratch converting Revell P 11c into Greek P24G, this was I think my first serious (and successful) scratch conversion, but maybe now I am ready to do another P24 out of the box...

Greek P.24Fs and Gs were delivered unpainted. In 1940 they were painted in a three colour scheme something like Dark Earth, Light Earth, Dark Green with Sky Blue undersides. See IBG's new release.

Hello Tony, I used the color references given by Azur converted to Humbrol witch gave H 62, 105, 248.

I rearly cannot se why the color given by IBG models should be more correct than Azur. ??

But then i do not know anything in regards to Greek color during WW2 🙄

Cheers

Indeed, they came to Greece in bare metal livery, please note, that initially the national insignias at least from bottom were painted on a center of wing, close to struts.

About when the war started in Europe they were camouflaged for the first time but still having national colour strips on rudder.  I think, that right before October 1940, so just before or during war operations in Greece, they strips were overpainted and likely machines could be all overpainted as well, at least some of them .

Here is Greek forum https://helaf.wordpress.com/2007/07/21/pzl-p24gf/ when some discussion is given. Many years ago there  was a a three colour (from top) scheme shown in Profile Publcations for P 24, namely "delta 126" . Some part of discussion is about it.

You may see a lot of intersting data, colour profiles and photos in P-24 monograph https://www.modellingnews.gr/el/νέα-μοντελισμού/pzl-p24a-g-andrzej-glass-tassos-katsikas-3d-monograph-no66-κagero?fbclid=IwAR0pNuExxMPV9ur5IzeE9cMiIi9bL2Wi41XeUlMNuSx5bP0yxlnCEWIx3f8
