TheRealMrEd
As stated in the build thread HERE: I am posting a couple of pictures of the Bell XP-83 just completed: As you can see in the photo above, I failed to add enough nose weight, so it's Mr Clear Sprue to the rescue! Thanks for looking, Ed

John R
It always struck me as being a brute of an aircraft. A real 'business' aeroplane. Nice work - I wish I had one to build John

TheRealMrEd
Thanks for the kind comments, folks! John, Anigrand has them for sale on their website. Far as I know, it's the only game in town for this aircraft.... Ed Edited December 3, 2020 by TheRealMrEd sp
SAT69
Silly me, I use clear sprue instead of nose weights. That way weights don't rattle around if they break loose while I'm assembling. Ask me how I know about that. Beautiful model. Wish there was one in 1/48 scale.

TheRealMrEd
Thanks, all, for the kind words. Sat69, When I glue in weights, I use a flexible glue like 560 canopy cement for just those same reasons. I only use the clear sprue, however, when I misjudge the weight needed, or when there's just not enough room to get it all in! Ed

Must be getting old paying that much for a kit but as you say it's the only one in town. John
