TEXANTOMCAT
Hello all - I was just reviewing my FLIKR and realise that I put this up in the wrong section so thought I would lob it up now! This was one of the first of the Sywell series I've been working on for our Sywell Aviation Museum. Currently doing a PFA rally dio! Northampton Aero Club c.1929, Sywell Aerodrome Trio of DH.60s- Cirrus Moth G-EBSA (Jack & Geoffrey Linnell) Cirrus Moth G-EBRX (Northants Aero Club) and Gipsy Moth G-AAGS (Perry Tyzack) to 1/72. Amodel kits modified with Oxford vehicles, modified Metcalfe Pavillion. Oils, enamels, pigments and a bit of scratch building. Taken about 4 months.. not 100% accurate more a homage really as had to fit in the case and give an impression of what it was like! Happy Xmas to you all and thank you for sharing all your amazing work - its inspiring! Best regards TT 25586836_10155119858355976_2137417151022351214_o by Ben Brown, on Flickr 25586966_10155119858820976_7158100566977317399_o by Ben Brown, on Flickr 25542651_10155119858770976_8642174014106468529_o by Ben Brown, on Flickr 25188770_10155087340625976_7002082074863946876_o by Ben Brown, on Flickr 25542657_10155119858405976_8810746560486675839_o by Ben Brown, on Flickr

Pete in Lincs
Quite lovely. Oh, for the days when you could tow your Aeroplane to the Aerodrome for a days flying.

Pete in Lincs
We have a collection of Gliders and trailers at Kirton Lindsay airfield, just up the road. It's been a while since I saw one travelling though.

TEXANTOMCAT
Many thanks! Simpler times- tow your Moth to the field with your Morris 8, commit aviation then jump in the Bentley Blower and pootle down to the Kit Kat Club to find a popsie! Salad days!
