Bjorn
Almost totally stuck in the Heller GB, I managed to finish this project. Italeri Gripen two-seater with CMK cockpit and canopy, Master pitot tubes, Two Bobs's decals and some scratch-building. The kit is far from perfect, but to be honest, I had expected worse. Shapes are good enough and the resin cockpit helps pretty much. It was a little tricky to attach the CMK canopy, but well worth it since it is a little smoke-coloured. Landing gears was treated with some extra details, wheel wells are OOB, they looked surprisingly nice. Weathered with dry pastels and Ultimate Wash that was sprayed in thin layers. Painted with Mr. Paint, at least 50 shades of grey. Thanks for watching! Edited December 2, 2020 by Bjorn

exdraken
great! a twoseater Gripen! rarely seen! does CMK provide a B models cockpit? I was only aware of the C/ D PE parts!

I was only aware of the C/ D PE parts! Yes and no. They have resin cockpits (including PE sets) for the C/D versions, but they are suited for the Italeri A/B releases. So you have to make some changes. Or just leave that to the experts and be satisfied with that it looks very much like a 39A/B.

Antti_K
Beautiful work Björn, I like it a lot! Very life-like. There was some rivalry in the air when Gripen and Eurofighter Typhoon performed at Turku air show a year ago. I wonder why😉 I was very impressed to see them maneuvering hard.
