Hobby design have just released one.  Hiroboy have it stock for 40 quid.

Just checked that out and discovered It's an etch detail set for the original series 2 Lotus. Phew!

Found this Interesting film about the Lotus 7 and it's takeover by Caterham here

That's nigh on twice what I paid for a Tamiya kit with the larger etched set, 4-point seat belts and aluminium bellmouths.

I have brought one, like you said it wasn't cheap but you do get an awful lot, new front shocks and springs, new dashboard with individual switches (which are unbelievably small), metal pulleys for the engine, new bonnet and a new windscreen plus numerous bit and pieces.

I may be dreaming as I'm sure someone enquired about a No.7 grille insert in this thread, or was it my RFI post? Well as I'm doing some etch items for another project I snuck a few onto the main fret, once available I will alert the masses.

Hey Mark,

this "7" script in the grille looks marvelous, another item which is a "got to have" 🤔😇😂

And, btw the new Landy thing looks also real great.

I'm always impressed by the ideas you're creating
