High-Lander
My first build in 28 years and first experience with an airbrush Had a number of problems along the way with parts not fitting correctly, sink marks or damaged due to the kit being so old (eg warped body) I did however make a few mods to make the kit more realistic and enjoyable. Off to build a couple of planes from my stash and introduce myself to "weathering" before tackling my next rally car ... a Jimmy McRae Opel Manta 400 with AC Delco decals 24
Vesa Jussila
Nice result from old kit that have it's problems. That was challenge even when it was new. I love to see it in Hannu Mikkola livery, he is family friend. And I am really waiting your build of Manta.
Alpha Delta 210
Who doesn't love a fast Ford? Your Escort is stunning, especially considering your period away!

Windy37
Great result ! This kit is usually grumbled at for not being accurate , hard to build etc . My opinion is this is the only MK2 kit available to build and most non kit builders are happy to see a classic, recognisable rally car . Looking forward to the Manta . Gary . Anteater
That's pretty impressive if you've not built anything in 28 years.

malpaso
Excellent job. I like yours in the blue as much as the Rothmans version I did. People complain the kit is not too accurate for an RS1800, but it's recognisable to anyone as an Escort Mk2 rally car!

Most people just like to see a Mk 2 on display ! Gary .
