speedy
I’m progressing on my build and decided to jump a couple of steps whilst pondering other issues. I noticed this on the sprue which is the part of the rotor head and its a main and obvious part. The kit is 2nd hand and has obviously got hot at some point; although all else is as intended. Anyway how on earth can I make this straight (vertical). 5A584467-0EEC-4259-8E77-003FAB5D041B Steve. Edited November 25, 2020 by speedy
Vicarage Vee
I can only suggest using it as a guide to make another out of Evergreen/Plastruct/Slaters tube, rod, sheet and strip. possibly incorporate some brass for strength.
Kev The Modeller
Gentle warm the area and slowly bend it back.

More seriously... polystyrene softens at around 100 degC so if you dip it into just boiled water for increasingly long times (you need to experiment to see how long it takes — use some sprue, but bear in mind a thin bit of sprue will heat up more quickly than that chunky part) until it softens you can flex it back slowly into place. If you leave the cold tap running you can then hold it underneath to “set” the piece back in the right shape... best, M. 1
