I'm not quite sure it would be a license to print money but among airliner enthusiasts for whom 1/144 is too small, 1/72 scale early jetliners would probably be most welcome. The obvious question is whether there's enough of a market. Not trying to dampen your spirits because I'd love to see a series of 1/72 airliners and, for that matter, a series of 1/48 executive jets but it seems the matter of marketability always rises to surface. Oddly, airplanes I've never heard of (and I've been an airplane nut since I was 6 years old; am 70 now) manage to be kitted and sold but some airplanes that are better known (C-124 in 1/72 and F-86H in 1/48) are still way back on the furthest back burner. Have yet to figure that one out.
Team Aer Lingus
A B707 would be a money spinner indeed ,plenty of Airline & Military colours to go on them, we could do with a new accurate tooled kit of the four holer
Ryan Hothersall
How about sticking to the Russian aircraft?. 1:72 kits of the current generation MiG-29K/UB, MiG-35 etc.
Neffan
Yes, we hope : SU-37 T-10M-11, MIG-29K, MIG-35 and YAK-38M -> All in 1/

Anushavan Ovanesovich Mikoyan (Mikhail Iosifovich Gurevich portraits optional on additional request!) this comrade! 😁🤝 But I don't think that the MiG-17PF will be, because they have poor Dragon repack ordinary MiG-17 in own catalog. 30 minutes ago, Neffan said: YAK-38M -> All in 1/72 Yak-38 maybe will be, but I'm not sure if it will be a Zvezda. In general, there was a hint that there will be two new items in 72nd scale. B.R. Serge

JWM
I still have hope for a r right shapes 1/72 Il 10 and DB 3 (early) as well as Tupolev R-6 (the recent is a bit off mainstream, so maybe a subject more for A-model than Zvezda) Regards J-W

Homebee
Zvezda catalog 2021 downloadable here: https://vk.com/doc6108131_578170851?hash=b62de4a6f84263e904 Quote Full catalog in Russian is ready and available on our VK page. Good news for our aviation fans - we will make new C-130J kit in 1/72 and easy to build Hurricane MK 1! For 1/48 scale we gonna make new Mi-24 and Yak-130 kits and... one kit will be a little surprise! a/c novelties for 2021 Rather disappointing to me, to say the least. NonetheIess I expect some more announcements during 2021, like 1/48th two seats Il-2 variants. 1/48th 1/72nd 1/144th V.P. It'll be interesting to see how this stacks up against the Arma one; maybe it'll be a different version, but I think it's definitely aimed at a different market. At least Zvezda is still doing new releases in the easy-build series - maybe next year we'll get a Yak-9T or an I-16 type 5! John

Graham Boak
Well, a Mk.IIc does clash with Arma. But then there aren't that much to choose between Hurricane variants that Arma doesn't do. A Sea Hurricane? A Mk.IV? A Mk.IIB in its own box?

TheyJammedKenny!
Very happy to see a stretch Herc! J or H, doesn't matter. As for 1/72 airliners, I think BPK has that market under control, and the market is extremely modest.
