mouse808 Posted November 19, 2020 Share Posted November 19, 2020 (edited) Hi all Time to de-lurk, been reading for about a year now after a friend and I were reminiscing over the old Matchbox models we built as kids. So I bought an old Brewster Buffalo, and my childhood came flooding back (with less glue ) I've watched/read so much since then and have build a few more models, so nice to get away from the screen for a bit and I love how you can pop in for a few mins to do something, really helped with all this working from home. Anyhow, just bought myself a little birthday pressie of a H&S Ultra so I guess I'm hooked again. Thanks for all the info on here, its amazing. Think I might just be ready to post my first "ready for inspection" shots 😬 Ps I seem to have a stash, how did that happen??? Ned Posted November 20, 2020 Share Posted November 20, 2020 The old two colour Matchbox kits remind me of a summer holiday in Great Yarmouth. The caravan site shop sold them, I built one almost every day and they all got broken on the way home I love my stash. Clicking away online when everyone else is asleep, and then hoping that stuff gets delivered when my wife is at work so I can ferret it away in the loft is all part of the fun.
