pierre Giustiniani
Hi all This is a representation of the Werner Voss Fokker F.1 done with the Mengnut Wings kit. The kit is really a pleasure to build Painting done by oil over acrylic. Have a nice day Pierre Edited November 24, 2020 by pierre Giustiniani 65
sroubos
Lovely job. Good to see it builds up well, initial reviews had me worried a bit, especially the wing warping issue some people reported. Did you experience this?
Viking
Lovely, the Fokker streaky effect colouring is outstanding. how did you do it? Cheers John
pierre Giustiniani
Thank you I Yes i had a box with sightly folded wings and broken part on middle wing. You can really fix it easily (just bend down the wings). For the panting i applied oil paint over a coat of acrylic paint. Starting by dots and pull with a flat brush moistened. Cheers Pierre Edited November 17, 2020 by pierre Giustiniani

Holzhamer
The Fokker camouflage looks fantastic, just spot on, bravo! Did you used the kit decals? I’m cruising along my build of Richthofen’s version but the decals look somewhat thick. Wonder if you could send me a simple diagram regarding the cables, because that really is lacking in the instructions booklet and I’m no expert of the DR.1. Much appreciated

pierre Giustiniani
Thanks for your kind comments mates ;) Sprues are clearly WNW Manual and decals Meng. The decals are a little bit thick and some are missing (like propellers brand). No rigging on the notice. I tried to do this to help: cheers Pierre 1
