Slater
Not sure if they'll get everything on the wish list, but evidently Israel is OK with the F-35 purchase. 802 AMRAAM's is a healthy amount. https://www.dsca.mil/sites/default/files/mas/UAE_21-01.pdf https://www.dsca.mil/sites/default/files/mas/UAE_21-03.pdf https://www.dsca.mil/press-media/major-arms-sales/united-arab-emirates-mq-9b-remotely-piloted-aircraft Edited November 10, 2020 by Slater

Truro Model Builder
I suspect the only one they worry about is the one on the other side of the Persian Gulf...
Giorgio N
Over the last few years the UAE have been very active in several areas and their armed forces have been quite heavily involved. Syria, Yemen and also Lybia are theatres where they have seen and are seeing combat. The Gulf countries in general are getting very active in the local crises (and in some not so local ones, like Lybia), we can expect more and more purchases like this in the next few years. And the enemy is not only Iran..
