New 1/48 T-34/85

Tamiya had announced a T-34/85. It is going to be the 1945 flat turreted version with squared off front fenders.

 

Yes, Hobby Boss already makes one, but you know...market competition and all that. And it's nice whenever they release a new kit. I think this is #99 I'm the series. Everybody is curious what #100 will be.

Good stuff - I was looking at my Hobby Boss one recently and thinking I could do a better job if I did a second one, bit didn't fancy the fiddly tracks and interior. Will wait for the Tamiya one on the basis it'll be good. Cheers!

In resin, for a hefty price though....   Unless a injection has popped up I'd not heard about?    But an intriguing idea.

The same Centurion you know of, Troy. As for the ASAM Chieftain, it’s expensive as well. And it lacks detail. But I’ll probably end up getting one out of desperation.
