Airfix 1/24 Spitfire V

Recommended Posts

I thought I threw this up before but does not seems so.

Dug this one out of the loft as few month back. Fit as you mostly know is not that great, finished with Humbrol and Alclad Matt Cote. Won't win any prizes but will make some kid happy hanging off his ceiling. Great imposing size though

Excellent result from a kit  that doesn't fall togeter by shaking the box!

The only nit pick concerns the aerial wire. The Mk V didn't have any. The antenna for the VHF radio was internal to the mast.

Apart from that – brilliant modelling!

Kind regards,

Joachim

Tks Joachim,

Don't worry it is probably broken off at this stage but thanks for the info!
