longshanks
Saw this in my local rag and thought it might provoke some ideas for a diorama https://www.cornwalllive.com/news/cornwall-news/gallery/39-pictures-cornwalls-abandoned-cars-4676845?utm_source=sharebar&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=sharebar Stay safe Kev
Pete in Lincs
Nice one. The Capri is probably the only one worth dragging away. And only for spares such as trim, at that. There are old Land Rovers parked up all over the country. Buy one, buy another (or more) for spares.
Sabrejet
Ooh I say - that Leyland Martian must be worth rescuing? My dad drove one whilst on National Service. I recall he didn't like it, but it's gotta be worth a go? 1
Ghostbase
One of my hobbies is looking for 'ghost towns' in parts of the USA and Canada and I have seen my fair share of abandoned cars and trucks, also 'fixer uppers' which often slowly deteriorate in people's yards. I have also happened across a couple of old scrap yards which still have vehicles that date back to the 40's and 50's and they were quite a sight to see! stevehnz
That is a nice article. An attractively different look at an age old problem. Thanks for sharing it Kev. @longshanks Steve.

Coors54
The paper missed my neighbour then, he's got quite a collection on his "drive". Some are not classics but a couple are interesting, This was his last daily runner, it expired a couple of years ago. Any guesses? And finally the one I would love to try and restore, Dave

From my point of view several crimes that should be punished with hard labor. And only one is that it was left rotten.
Dancona
Very sad, I agree, good looking car though, up there with the contemporary Astons and Jags in style and performance wise, IMHO ! This is what it should look like, I wish someone would do a decent model of one . Cheers David
