Terry1954
More marvellous modelling from Moa! I've got an old Pegasus Ansaldo somewhere, this one should be interesting. Terry

I've got an old Pegasus Ansaldo somewhere, this one should be interesting. Terry Thanks, Terry. There are some nice civil registrations that this kit can have, even without any modifications. It is a nice kit, if a bit old, and you need to make and add all struts and some of the interior yourself. The Tutor photographed above in the thread really surprised me with its surface detail quality.
fjaweijfopi4j48
The fuselage as explained had a little chin absent in the kit, so this is added as a pre-formed slab of styrene to be finalized in place. The arrows point to features absent in the racer, thus those will be erased in time: More priming, correcting, re-priming ensues for this one and the Fokker:
fjaweijfopi4j48
The larger radiator needed is fabricated:
fjaweijfopi4j48
The radiator is glued on. The exhausts in the kit are not properly distanced, they should have grouped 2-2-2, so a couple are plugged to be later re-drilled in the right positions. Progress is slow, but hopefully these details will help the final look of the model:
Bengalensis
Important details, that will go a long way in the end.
fjaweijfopi4j48
Details not pertinent to this version were deleted from the fuselage, and the landing gear was made and attached:

bigbadbadge
Looking good fella, progressing well now, it certainly makes for an interesting aircraft what with the wings and fuselage shape. Chris

Chris Hi Chris It is indeed attractive in a sort of unusual way, with that tadpole fuselage and small and squarish wings. Cheers
fjaweijfopi4j48
The wings are on, and the tail group is assembled, as it will be painted separately. At the bottom is the Fokker C.IV wing still needing work:
