gmoss
Hi everyone This is the Hobby Boss 1/48 KV-1 Ehkranami. It's been years since I built a HB kit and it went together a lot better than I'd anticipated and at $19, it was a bargain. It's painted with Tamiya acrylics and weathered with oils and pigments. Apologies (yet again) for the small photos - I'm still getting the hang of uploading pics. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Greg Edited November 5, 2020 by gmoss typo

echen
Very nice. Like the "well worn" look. Bigger pix would set it off better?

Looked up for the kit I realised that the box actually says "S Ehkranami" that vaguely reminds the sound of "с экранами" that means "with spaced armour plates" By all means this "ehkranami" is NOT a proper noun. Bullbasket
Excellent build and the weathering is so typical of WW2 Soviet armour. Nice one. John.

Blanketyblank
Very nice indeed. I have a soft spot for the KV-1. It was the first kit by Tamiya I ever made way back in the early 80’s. My gran bought me it as a present at the time when every local department store had an amazing model section.
StuartH
You've done a great job with that....the wear and tear looks just perfect...very Soviet. I'll have to give the Hobbyboss kits some future consideration. Nice one👍
