Russian KV-1 s Ehkranami

Hi everyone

This is the Hobby Boss 1/48 KV-1 Ehkranami.  It's been years since I built a HB kit and it went together a lot better than I'd anticipated and at $19, it was a bargain.

It's painted with Tamiya acrylics and weathered with oils and pigments.

Apologies (yet again) for the small photos - I'm still getting the hang of uploading pics.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers,

Greg

Well, I was quite bamboozled on what could "Ehkranami" mean. Looked up for the kit I realised that the box actually says "S Ehkranami" that vaguely reminds the sound of "с экранами" that means "with spaced armour plates"

By all means this "ehkranami" is NOT a proper noun.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Very nice indeed.

I have a soft spot for the KV-1. It was the first kit by Tamiya I ever made way back in the early 80’s. My gran bought me it as a present at the time when every local department store had an amazing model section.
