Gidday Dirk, next you'll be saying they're the worst cat-heads and pin rails you've ever done. They look very good, perfect in fact, to me. Keep up the good craftmanship. Dubz
Thanks Murdo, dnl42, Jeff, beefy & the likes. I really appreciate it 🙂 More nails for the gratings 😉 Pinned with a needle then filled with graphite (Pencil). Then to the stern. I changed it here a bit and did not used the big PE part but made it with pear. I also started with the galion. And I begin to do the bolt throughs, typical for russian ships (like the french are doing it). cheers Dirk
Dubz
I have now also "rounded" the hatch cover according to the gratings. At the moment I am checking out the "moldings. The upper black lasered from the kit is already glued, the lower I have "rebuilt" according to my own gusto, is only pinned and holds so also (no glue needed there). Had first considered to bring "white" in similar to my gunboat, but very unsure about. The channels could get a correspondingly bright "cover", then the line would go through. I'll probably check that today. The lines from the ship are really beautiful I think 🙂 cheers Dirk
Dubz
Sometimes it's is two steps forward, one step back ... we can call it "deconstruction time" 😛 I was not happy with the sheer rail profile, especially when used on the channels, so I changed to another one. Some macros. More macros 🙂 cheers Dirk
beefy66
Some very fine details there Dirk 👍 Stay Safe and Best Wishes beefy

Dubz
I built the elm tree pumps and did preparations for the breeching rope (eyebolts with rings) I replaced the wood for the pumps but used the etch parts. Soldering then filing to get great parts. cheers Dirk

Dubz
Thanks Beefy & the likes it's a while .. So time for an update. The last days I did a lot of small stuff like the PE for the oar lids and built the guns .. almost ... one master is done. The sides are not glued yet as I might change the barrel. Not sure yet.
