janneman36
This Tamiya Bf 109E-3 is built for the Battle of Britain group build.. I found the kit to have a lot shrink dents and the canopy had some scratches in it while never been out of the bag .... the fit is very good though.. Installed some cockpit parts from a Eduard etch set and installed a S.B.S. seat as the kit one looks a little wierd.. This crosshatch scheme was for me a atractive but challenging one to get on nicely.. I had all sorts of paint used on this one like Revell RLM65 and RLM02, Hataka RLM71,Mr Hobby RLM71 for the crosshatch .( to get the later on painted feeling) Decals were done first before the crosshatch scheme.. This particular aircraft flew from Coquelles near Calais which is nowadays the Eurotunnel complex .. No information is known about the pilot or the aircraft’s fate The aircraft wasn’t very worn so therefore i kept wheatering to a minimum.. cheers, Jan

Or are you talking about the one underside pic? cheers, Jan
PlaStix
Hi Jan. On my PC at work the last 4 were upside down. On my phone now they are all the right way up. May just be my work PC. Kind regards, Stix
