vytautas
Hi guys! This is the method I am using I usually use these tools for carving: two curved blades and diagonally cut and sharpened needle (about 0.8mm) I do not use the blade handle so I can work more precisely At first I cut roughly, forming the main relief: Later I start to detailing. I do not use a knife with a straight blade for carving, I try not to make a flat relief. Usually, I shave the relief with the top of the blade. After blades the relief becomes very bumpy: I smooth out the relief with a diagonally cut and sharpened needle Then sandpaper. Some examples: I wanted to crush the muffler more, so I glued a little piece of plastic to make it wider: Vytautas Edited November 2, 2020 by vytautas 5
