zebra
I'll be building a Hawk from the Saudi Hawks display team, using the Red Arrows boxing and decals from Dek'ls. Here's the kit in all its red plastic glory: more soon Julian

zebra
This really is a nice little kit. I got started yesterday and I'm nearly ready to zip the fuselage up. Keeping this strictly OOB - going to ignore any detail differences between the T.1 and the Mk.68, and definitely not reshaping the rear fuselage - as I'd like to get it done pretty quickly (I've been getting a bit behind and starting group builds a month or more late - it's not helping me to get to the modelling I want to be doing - so playing catch-up). I don't think that's going to be a problem, seeing how easily this goes together. cheers Julian
HoolioPaulio
Nice choice, I almost went for that scheme, though I had no idea it was the Saudi display team I had just Googled BAe Hawk and was looking at options, and I like green. I'll be looking forward to seeing this one done
Pete in Lincs
You'll be needing a pot of Humbrol green then. Apparently an exact match. Their Hawks were usually a nuisance when they turned up at Riyadh!

I seem to have been forgetting to post updates again. Airframe is assembled - just need to deal with the canopy then it's time to start painting. cheers Julian
nimrod54
Another build that is progressing well, it is going to look great in that green and white Saudi Hawks scheme. Well done Julian.
