"The Flying Missile" 1950 Glen Ford film (Movie) online

I recently stumbled across 1950 film "The Flying Missile" starring Glen Ford on YouTube (GB)- It's the entire movie, and has some very interesting scenes featuring the 'Loon' Missile, which was the US Copy of the German V1 flying bomb. Also seen is a seemingly remote piloted Grumman Hellcat (No idea if this was an actual system, but it looks pretty pukka to me) and some Grumman Avengers make an appearance at the finale. I've skipped through it avoiding some of the distinctly Hollywood romance sequences 🙂

It's quite a record of those days- I wont link to it, and I have no clue if it will hang around for long online, but I thought I'd mention it.

Happy viewing!

Thanks very much for the  heads-up, John, especially the X-15 movie, I had no idea it existed, let alone with Charlie Bronson as lead!  I will get it on a big screen, the colour looks great.

Don't forget Bombers B-52, and best of all, Toward the Unknown.

I have both of those on DVD, along with "The Hunters" and "Bridges at Toko Ri" 🙂
