1/350 IJN Mikasa.

Recommended Posts

I recently finished a two-seat MiG-23 but in 1/72 so share the interest.

It didn't hurt too much but I was in plaster for 2 months with my toes pointed so it was uncomfortable. I opted not to have the operation to repair the damage as it repairs naturally in the same amount of time and the prospect of being cut open from the back of the knee to the ankle didn't appeal! I had to have stitches in a head wound from hitting the concrete when the tendon snapped and as local anesthetic doesn't have any effect on me, I felt every, single, one of the stitches going in.......

It's the wrong time of year to be getting out to do things and the restrictions don't help but whilst modelling will keep you busy, it can become obsessive and isn't very energetic so please try to do other things as well.

Look after yourself.

Hi Steve.

The joys of injuries eh.

I used to do a lot of walking but I am unable to anymore due to arthritis in my knee,I can not walk far these days without being in a lot of pain.

My son does take me fishing every couple of weeks.

Due to my illness I can not be around a lot of people and it is unsafe for me to go out alone. When I am at home I feel safe and that is why I model so much.

Anyway I hope you are keeping well.

Ralph.
