My First WIP- 1/48 Hasegawa F-104J

Recommended Posts

G'day all,

Been lurking for a few years but this is my first WIP. I have added an Aires Cockpit, though TBH it probably doesnt need one, Brassin Exhaust and Master pitot.  I'm using a Two Bobs Aggressor sheet and will be doing the 203rd Hikotai (Red & White) markings. Just buttoned it up and layed down some primer- a few spots to tidy up and then on to the paint.

thanks for looking.

Cool, standing by with interest :)

I think the Aires cockpit does add a lot of visual interest, even though it's a pretty crammed cockpit.

To kick it up a notch in accuracy you may want to add some narrow main wheels (both Hasegawa kit wheels are too wide).

Cheers,

J

Very nice rendition of a Mitsubishi built F-104

Can you tell us which metal paints you used, they are very effective

Gotta love the almost infinite variety of markings on JASDF aggressor types

Gives Hasegawa plenty of opportunities for limited edition specials
