gr8bookworm
G'day all, Been lurking for a few years but this is my first WIP. I have added an Aires Cockpit, though TBH it probably doesnt need one, Brassin Exhaust and Master pitot. I'm using a Two Bobs Aggressor sheet and will be doing the 203rd Hikotai (Red & White) markings. Just buttoned it up and layed down some primer- a few spots to tidy up and then on to the paint. thanks for looking.
billn53
One can never go wrong with a Starfighter. And, I love your choice of markings. Can’t wait to see how it looks when you’re done.
Harry Callahan
Ohhh the Hasegawa Starfighter. Its still a good choice even the Kinetic one is on the market now. I will follow your thread with big interest.
JeffreyK
Cool, standing by with interest I think the Aires cockpit does add a lot of visual interest, even though it's a pretty crammed cockpit. To kick it up a notch in accuracy you may want to add some narrow main wheels (both Hasegawa kit wheels are too wide). Cheers, J
TheFlogger
The oldie Hasegawa Starfighter still great. But Kinetic has much better and realistic details;such as non-rivetted wing.

gr8bookworm
Sorry for the lack of updates! Decals are on and I've just layed down a Sealing coat of SMS Super Clear. Once that cures I'll be onto weathering.
Col Walter E Kurtz
Looks fantastic! i think the unusual markings set this off really well. Very striking. I like the different silvers you've used also. This gives it some 'depth' . Well Done!

0-taku
Very nice rendition of a Mitsubishi built F-104 Can you tell us which metal paints you used, they are very effective Gotta love the almost infinite variety of markings on JASDF aggressor types Gives Hasegawa plenty of opportunities for limited edition specials
