jean Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 Hi Matt, great painting and weathering. Both models are stunning. Congrats!!! JR
keith in the uk Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Very nice indeed Matt , both look spot on ..
Terry1954 Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Great Battle of Britain pair there Matt! Terry
Back in the Saddle Posted October 31, 2020 Author Posted October 31, 2020 Thanks Keith and Terry👍 The decals on the Spitfire were done with Klear, as an experiment. On the Hurricane I used micro set/sol, which for me gave a superior finish...
djos Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Great pair. Both models looks superb. For my eyes, hurricane is spot on, and spitfire maybe with little more weathering than i like but as i said, this is my taste... :) In any case you done a great job Best regards Djordje
Paulaero Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Very Nice Matt, like the pictures on the glass base, mine should be emerging from the paint shop this afternoon, at the last minute Just in case I don't get there !!!
Wulfman Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 A couple of battle worn warriors , well done ! Wulfman
Tigerman60 Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Very nice models. And the weathering is not overdone. I like it.
ColinChipmunkfan Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Both models look very realistic Matt, good job! I particularly like the Hurricane. I can't see much difference in the photos between Klear vs Micro sol/set. I use both techniques as well.
Sky Keg Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Excellent depiction of the two flag bearers over England in the Summer of 1940. Mike
