Hello my Friends.
My name is Ralph and I like to build almost anything, mainly ships and figures.
Hoping to join in and maybe make a few friends.

I suffer with serious mental health problems(Schizophrenia) and use modelling to occupy my mind,I model and paint most days.
I support an awful team called Chester FC and love to go fishing.
I have a lovely wife called Paula who colours wonderful pictures.
A son called Chester who is a Chef and a daughter called Eskarina who is nearing the end of a Masters Degree.
I also like to play solo board games and I am currently playing Core Space.
All the best.
Ralph.

Hi Ralph, I'm a bit below you, geographically speaking, being in mid Wales.  It's nice to have you here - I've found this to be a very friendly forum and have found the advice and help available here to be invaluable as I began my modelling journey.

Cheers,

JRK

Gidday Ralph again, that's a very good model. I've only done a few ships in 1/700. Although the kits had good detail I found the small size a bit awkward at times. (Airfix) ships in 1/600 is my preferred scale, though it limits me a bit in what's available, plus they're a bit basic. Your seascape, rigging and guard rails are way out of my league, very well done. Regards, Jeff.

Thank for the kind words Jeff.

I was just looking through a thread where I saw you with the USS North Carolina,I could never scratchbuild that it is great.

As for rigging I did this IJN Mikasa last year for a guy in Cardiff.
